Well, hello! I am Amanda Burger and I am Burger Abroad. I am a solo vegan full-time traveler and pet-sitter. I have one backpack (that weighs 5 kgs) and no home! I wander around the world and hang out with sweet animals. I also tend to eat lots of vegan food along the way.
2. What is your site about?
Burger Abroad mainly focuses on mindful vegan travel. I write about travel, destinations, minimalism, animal sanctuaries I come across, and of course, lots of vegan restaurants and lots of vegan burgers! You can also find me on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+.
3. What is one food tip you would give about Brighton?
Since I travel-fulltime, my home is wherever my bag is! So I’m going to talk about my recent favorite city of Brighton, in the UK, where there’s great food (and beer) everywhere. Brighton is beautiful. Classic Victorian architecture lines the city streets. Sea views are everywhere. And the coastline itself is spectacular. Brighton has an amazing local arts, music, and theater scene, and is seemingly always a buzz with new festivals.
4. What is one travel tip you would give about Brighton?
My best travel tip for Brighton is that it’s completely walkable so no transportation is needed! I highly recommend wandering around and discovering the city on your own.
5. What is the best thing to eat in Brighton?
My favorite thing to eat is definitely all the vegan burgers at The Loving Hut. Vegan burgers, vegan cheese, and vegan mayonnaise. It’s just like heaven.
