Brooklyn restaurant Eat and its managing chef and curator, Nicholas Nauman, are well known at Travel Gluttons. On Monday January 27th at 7pm they are hosting, together with local food grocery service Good Eggs, a winter season dinner conversation.
In addition to the three course dinner, Eat will be serving locally crafted wine from boutique winery Brooklyn Wines.
“Hi all,
This Monday, January 27th, at 7 pm, we are excited to collaborate with Good Eggs (a great local foods grocery service) to host a “Dinner Conversation” with farmers Jake Dickson of Dickson’s Farmstand Meats, and Josh Morgenthau of Fishkill Farms.
We’ll be dishing up a multi-course meal of the farmers’ goods, and they’ll be chatting about why they do it and what it means to produce local foods, especially at this frigid time of year.
If you’ve ever wanted to meet the people behind the source of your dinner, and even ask them a few questions (to say nothing of having a great meal), this is a perfect opportunity!
Tickets are available here: http://www.goodeggs.com/EATdinner.
See you Monday!
