With specialist producers from across Wales and the rest of the United Kingdom, the Cardiff International Food and Drink Festival at Cardiff Bay is the place to treat yourself from July 12th to 14th.
Producers like Blaengawney Cider will be tempting you with their handmade farmhouse cider while Blaenavon Cheddar Co. Ltd offers up specialty Welsh cheddar cheeses, soft Welsh goats cheese, and blue cheese. Those with a sweet tooth will find what they’re looking for at Pembertons Chocolates, producers of chocolate fruit pots, confectionary items, chocolate pots, and bonbons.
“The foodie event of the summer returns to Cardiff Bay, with a glorious spread of farmhouse cheese, handmade chocolates, specialist liqueurs and much, much more to tempt the taste buds. With over 100 specialist food and drink producers and a beautiful waterfront venue it’s the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the free entertainment.
Shop at the Producer Fayres or Farmer’s Market; relax on the Food Piazza or popular Champagne Bar on the water edge. With music and entertainment for all the family this is one of the capital’s favourite summer dishes.

Enjoy a varied programme of entertainment ; music from the bandstand includes Soul, Jazz, Folk, Skiffle and Country and Western along with a cornucopia of hilarious walkabout entertainment.
Celtic Manor Food Theatre:
Come along to the Celtic Manor Food Theatre and join in a range of food demonstrations and hands-on workshops. Signature dishes and seasonal recipes will be prepared using local fresh ingredients many of which are available to buy on site.
Plus don’t miss the daily children’s workshops where budding young chefs can create their own dishes. Please sign up for children’s workshops at the Information van on the day.”
