I love to taste different beers from all over the world. When I last visited my aunt and cousins on Vancouver Island, Canada and they suggested a trip to Tofino and a stop at the Tofino Brewing Company, I jumped at the chance. Tofino is a small town on the west coast of Vancouver Island and has everything to offer outdoor enthusiasts. At the brewery, however, we sampled all the beers they had on tap and even took home a few ‘Growlers’. For the uninitiated, a Growler from the Tofino Brewing Company is a nearly two litre, reusable glass bottle that can be brought back at any time to be filled up with fresh beer. I think it’s great how they promote recycling and sustainability and most of all, I loved their beer! – Tanya Braaksma
