If you ever have the feeling that it’s time for a change, then now is your chance to do something about it. Tourism Australia recently opened six vacancies for the Best Jobs in the World, and one of them could be your dream job.
Did you ever imagine growing up to work as a Lifestyle Photographer in Melbourne, a Chief Funster in New South Wales, or a Park Ranger in Queensland? How about a Wildlife Caretaker in South Australia, an Outback Adventurer in the Northern Territory, or a Taste Master in Western Australia? As a Taste Master you would be responsible for eating your way around the state, foraging for the finest produce, and uncovering the best bars and restaurants.
Western Australia, the country’s largest state, has a great reputation for its fresh produce, gourmet cuisine, outstanding vineyards, and notable micro-breweries.
The six winners of the Best Jobs in the World will be offered six-month contracts starting in June and will be paid A$50,000 in salary, in addition to A$50,000 for living expenses.
The competition is open to anyone over 18 who is able to work in Australia on an appropriate visa, and Australians are also welcome to apply. Tourism Australia is hoping that the interest generated by these attractive job offers will boost the number of working-holiday tourists and increase regional tourism in the country.
